Equine assisted Mindfulness:
The powerful practice of mindfulness can be discovered through interaction with horses. Experiences we have with the horses enhance the opportunity for self awareness – it cannot be otherwise. Increasing people’s awareness of what’s happening in the moment can help them step into authentic being and so bring them back into their own power. Through awareness, we begin to see ourselves more clearly and find our personal power in that clear and authentic contact with ourselves. This is hugely beneficial for mental health and personal development. Balance, resilience, creativity and general well being increase and stress and anxiety decrease through mindfulness. Horses are natural mindfulness facilitators and awareness teachers as they are fully present and aware.
In this workshop you will learn the basic practice of mindfulness, enrich your experiences by becoming more present in your life, enhance your connection with your true self, and either take the first steps to a daily mindfulness practice or enhance your daily mindfulness practice.
(No horseback riding, activities with horses are on the ground, no horse experience required)
